We have designed our custom boards using M24C02-WDW6TP from STM Electronics.

As this part is now out of stock and not recommended for new designs, M24C02-DRDW8TP/K part number can be used as alternate ?

Yes it can be used. This device covers the M24C02-WDW6TP specifications.

Pay attention : the M24C02-DRDW8TP/K is able to answer to 1010 & 1011 device type identifier ( 1011 is used for identification page).

ps: M24C02-FDW6TP can be also an alternative.
