Hi, anyone can suggest a faster (than STVP) flash programmer for ISP programming of ST92F150?

    Thanks

What about the Segger Flasher. It should be optimized for Volume Production.

    hi!

we developed a small and flexible in-system-programming-box, which allows to programm the ST9x devices.

Simply connected to PC via RS232, it is possible to run scripts for predefined actions, i.e. RESET, FLASH-ERASE, PROGRAMM, LOAD-BOOT-APPLICATION, ...

even it is possible to run own small programms in the internal RAM without programming the flash!

    is anyone interested?

    email me.

    regards, siggi

Sure, can you tell us more about your tool, how you came to develop it?

we developed this tool cause the ST-programming board is not usable for production und the segger tool is too unflexible.

we had another small application, so it was no long way to redesign it as a ISP-Tool for the ST9.

It generates the RESET und other ISP-Signals and transfers data from/to the PC via RS232.

The PC kann interoperate with a simple script file or manual actions do perform actions:

    reset

    erase flash sector

    erase chipflash

    donwload hexfile

    download binfile

load your application into ram and execute it

the last point is remarkable: you can execute applications without the need of programming the flash! so you are able to test special functions very fast.

the tool is connected the the target-system with the 6 lines:

    +5V/GND/RESET and the ISP-Signals.

    regards,

    siggi

Do you belong to a company involved with Devt Tools or did you design this programmer to solve your own application problem.

we designed the tool to get best results for development AND production-use.

as mentioned earlier, it is very flexible and therfore for many tasks useful.

    Hi siggi

Your tool looks good! If you use ISP, you probably need HW between your application and PC? Is it working as the ST programming board? I mean with another micro as a master...?
