I have tried to use the gdk14 and xfree_4.zip with XFree86 4.2.0 for

    the STPC Consumer platform.

However I have a PCI configuration and the stpc_driver.c uses ISA

probes. Furthermore the xfree4.a supplied by xfree_4.zip is not

reproducible, thus far, using the gdk14 source base. The gdk14

supplied buildlib, in the linux project, does not produce the same

object when modified to match the .o's found in xfree4.a .

I have just found the stpckit which has the same stpc_driver.c (with

the dos line feeds stripped). This will be tried next.

Has anyone successfully used these libraries to produce X 4.x.x for the stpc

    consumer?
