Can't programming my upsd3354DV with ULINK2 (Print version 2)

Last week my ULINK1 USB-JTAG Connector was broken.

Today I received a new ULINK2. But the new ULINK2 doesn't work.

When I tried to programming my uPSD3354DV chip following error occurred:

Erasing Flash...

Erasing PLD/ACR...

Programming Flash Block 0 (FS0)

Flash Programming Error in Block: 0x00000 - 0x00039

***Error: Programming failed

The firmware version of the ULINK2 is V1.30.

The Softwareversion of Keil uVision is V3.60.

For the Flash Programming I use the St -uPSD ULINK Driver. (UL2UPSD.DLL

V2.63)

With another ULINK2 (Print Version 1) I bought last year I can download a program without problems to the uPSD3354.

I already tried a second ULINK2 (Print Version 2) because i believed the first ULINK2 was broken. But both ULINK2 doesn't work.

Do you have any suggestions for solving the problem?

Dear Marcel,

I had the same errors in the past. I think i collected all the possible errors from ULINK2 and PSD Soft.

I don't know exactly the possible cause but i played around the MERGE FILE SECTION of PSD Soft Express and the phenomena disappeared.

For me something is related with HEX file addressing. I moved and changed the related .H0x files and finally i found a stable configuration.

Take a look inside your HEX files (I suppose you have several) and check if these files have the right addresses for the Flash area you configured.
