Can the USBLC6 D- and D+ be applied to any of the I/O pins?

It looks like on the datasheet schematic that I/O1 and I/O2 are hooked to the same circuitry and therefore can be used as either D- or D+ depending on which orientation is convienent. However, in every example schematic that I have found I always see D- on I/O1 and D+ on I/O2.

Can someone please confirm whether I can use either I/O pin for D- and D+?

Yes, you can connect D+ on I/O1 and D- on I/O2, or D- on I/O1 and D+ on I/O2.
