Cannot Proceed With FP-ATR-LTE1 Example: "Waiting for network interface to connect"

After loading the asset tracking example binary (SBSFU_STM32L496G_AssetTracker.bin) from the FP-ATR-LTE1 package, the system is unable to proceed beyond "Waiting for network interface to connect". See figure 9 in UM2712. The system is getting signal strength around -70dBm.

 

 

I am using the P-L496G-CELL02 hardware package with Nucleo-GNSS1A1 and X-NUCLEO-IK01A3 expansions. The BG96 firmware is BG96MAR02A08M1G_01.012.01.012.

 

I was wondering if perhaps the AWS endpoint for this function pack is no longer supported despite the DSH-ASSET tracking site still operating.

Hello Tom,

some questions to better understand your problems.

Are you using the embedded SIM card in the CELL02 module, or an external SIM card?

Have you activated the SIM card?
