Cannot stop ARM device

    In an effort to write a boot loader, I have changed the configuration so that the device starts executing code from bank 1.

    It doesn't work. ...

    Since then I am unable to access the flash device. :(

    I have tried the procedure described in the Application note from keil: RECOVER ACCESS TO FLASH...by erasing flash immediatly after reset with no result.

    I use :

    - MCB STR9 demo board from Keil

    - ULINK JTAG device

    - µVision

    any idea what I can try before desoldering the device ?

    Hello!

    Do you find a solution without using a new device?

    I am using IAR STR912-SK and iSYSTEMS iONE and get the error message that CPU cannot be stop after startup...

    I think the solution must be similar to yours - something like reseting everything in the device.

    Please help me :)

    Hello Heiko,

    one solution is using the ST Miro flashlink adapter (look

    under flashlink on the ST Micro pages) together with

    the tool CAPS to erase the complete flash.

    This was for me the only way (without unsoldering

    the device) to relive the STR912 micro.
