    Hoping someone can help

    Designing hardware for ST10F269. using a external oscillator module. In other words I do not want to use a crystal and the internal oscillator.

    Spec (page 150 of data sheet) calls for a clock rise and fall time of 3nsec max. This is not typical for most commercial oscillator modules, where 5 -6 nsec is typical.

    Does this 3nsec apply only to Direct Drive clock input ?

    Is this spec relaxed for clock multiplication modes ?

    I plan say 8MHz module, x4 = 32MHz Fcpu
