    Hi zahir,

Do u mean that the web browser page does not display fully? Mine is also the same. I need to refresh a few times before it can display fully.

I think it is related to the connectivity of the uip server.

    Regards,

    Hi All

We have just begun evaluation with the STR9 ComStick, but its not going too well. I seem to have hit a dead end :(

I have installed/uninstalled the Hitex software several times just in case. The problem is as follows. I have recompiled and downloaded the demo app and then reset&go. The orange led flashes fine. Now I want to setup the web server. So I startup the comstick gui, enter the ip address etc (and I also enter a dummy MAC address) and click change - at the bottom of the window there is a message saying ''unable to open port communicate with device''. I ignore that and try and connect via a browser - no luck. Resetting and recconnecting gives the same error message.

I have also noticed that the code is setting 100Mb Full Duplex. My hub shows that it is connected only as half duplex. So I changed the code to use Half Duplex but that made no difference. Thinking this is a problem with the comstick view app, I tried to use the demo ethernet application in the hitex install. But again I cannot seem to get the ethernet to do anything.

Sorry to sound so vague, but I really do not know enough about the tool to know what to do next (I am after all just starting...). I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

If I can provide other info please do let me know

    regards

    Zahir

Ok, seem to get somewhere now - it seems the driver does not properly auto install. Did it manually and it makes the view gui work correctly.

However, although the demo app sort of works, I get the header with the menu items, but the bottom frame does not display - page not found.
