Hello. I have the following problem:

After a playing with a new code I lost the communication with STR911FA44X6 device via JTAG pins. In my last compilation I have change both clocks - PCLK and MCLK and maybe I made something wrong. I suppose that the problem is similar to this one:

    http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3215.htm

But, I don't have a Keil JTAG probe. I'm using a Segger J-Link and IAR. Is there a way to make the same operation with J-Link? I have a Wriggler clone JTAG also.

    Hello mudrovc,

If you have an RLINK or Flash link, please try to make a full erase using CAPS?

    Best regards,

    mirou.

Yes this helps. Thank you mirou. :)

I have a successful erase of the memory with FlashLink cable and JTAG Programmer software. Two things should be taken in account:

    1. The FlashLink cable schematics has an error. A shortcut between DB8 & DB13 on PC connector is missing. Thanks to the guys from the forum

    http://www.st.com/mcu/forums-cat-4961-21.html

I think the ST support team should correct the documents, the schematics didn't work without this connection.:(

    2. To have a possibility to erase the locked chip you need to hold the device in RESET (via Assert Reset button).

Hope this will help to other guys with a dead JTAG problem. :)
