debugg with st7 flash stick

    Hello friends. I have a ST7 flash stick. I wondering is it possible to debugg a st7lite09 online with the ST7visual developer and the S7 flash stick?

    Hello Ben,

    I think it's not possible to perform In Circuit Debugging (ICD) on a st7lite09 part. I hope it's that you mean by ''debug online''. Indeed, there is not debug module on the chip. So you can only program it but not debug it.

    Hi Ben,

    it looks as if the STICK really is not suitable for online debugging.

    I only found hints to applicable development tools in the manual at chapter 15.3 DEVELOPMENT TOOLS. Hope it will help you.

    Hi,

    STVD can debug through the ST7-STICK, this feature has been introduced since few monthes. As Seb13-colin told, the device need to have a debug module to support debugging whatever is the tool.
