Double-Register Compare Mode

    Is there a way to disable the double-register compare mode, other than by making sure the modes do not match on the registser pairs? Example: I'm using CC16 as Compare Mode 1 and want CC24 as Compare Mode 0, but don't want these in a double-register compare mode, rather to operate independently.
