    Hello,

    I hope this question belongs on this software forum...

    I'm wondering if it is a good idea to drive a fet directly from an ST7Lite2 PWM ouput pin.

    Is it good for EMC, durabilty,...

    Should i take any precausions? The fet drives a 100% resistive load.

    Yes, that's possible as the I/Os generating PWM signals on ST7 are automatically configured as output push pull.

    That's more or less what our MCUs dedicated to the motor control applications do!
