Earth short protection TDA7498E

Hi, any suggestions to protect the speaker outputs of the TDA7498 from a short to mains supply earth?

Welcome @just280, to the community!

If the supply voltage of the TDA7498 is galvanically isolated from mains, there should be no problem if one of the speaker output wires is connected to mains supply earth.

Not sure that's a practical solution on a 170VA linear supply?

Well, such a linear supply must also be galvanically isolated for safety reasons, or do you not have such isolation? Therefore the previous statement still applies.
