Efficiency and Power Dissipation of HFDA801L

We would appreciate it if you could provide information regarding the changes in efficiency and power dissipation (thermal performance) of the HFDA801L under the following conditions:

  • Device: HFDA801L
  • Supply Voltage: 14.4V
  • Input Signal: TDM Fs 48kHz
  • Load: 4 channels × 2Ω (driving 2Ω on all outputs)
  • Planned Register Settings:
    • IB2 D6: "1 – PWM out of phase"
    • IB19 D2: "0 – Slow Slope"
    • IB24 D[1:0]: "01 – PWM Standard Frequency"

We are currently considering the "Slow Slope" setting, but we have some concerns regarding heat generation.
To support our heatsink simulation, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share data showing how efficiency and power dissipation vary between the Slow Slope and Fast Slope settings.

We understand that selecting the Slow Slope may result in lower efficiency.
Thank you very much for your support.

Best regards,
