    Hi.

I don't know the difference between all emulators; but i am using indart and very happy about it.

Here is a very simplified summary of how I view the various emulators:

    EMU3

High-end real-time emulation with full observability (trace, memory r/w while running, advanced break point)

    ICD and ICP available.

    http://mcu.st.com/mcu/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=8

    DVP3

Entry level real-time emulation with limited observability (limited trace, limited advanced break point)

    ICD and ICP available.

    http://mcu.st.com/mcu/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=22

    InDart and evaluation boards

Connected to the real device so no observability. Only stepping, run , break available.

ICD and ICP only + evaluation boards

    http://www.st.com/stonline/products/literature/bd/11211/indart.pdf

    R-Link and REVA boards

Connected to the real device so no observability. Only stepping, run , break available.

ICD and ICP only + evaluation board

    Thanks a lot.

What do you mean by ''Connected to the real device so no observability.'' ?

BTW: Isn't it strange that in-dart produce by softec, but there is link to the document from ST site ?
