Error when building the uClinux kernel

    Hi!

    I´m getting an error when building the kernel. I am trying the use uClinux according to the Getting Started application note.

    It works until i get to the step: run the following command ''make lib_only''.

    Leaving directory ´tmp/uclinux-dist/uClibc/libc/misc/assert´

    ***[_dir_assert] Error 2

    From this point on several errors occur (all ''leaving directory'') and at last the zimage.bin is not built.

    Does anyone know what I´m doing wrong?

    For information: I´m trying to build the kernel in cygwin running on a WinXP machine.

    OK, thanks. But is it possible to compile an application independently from the uClinux image under cygwin?
