I’m looking for the ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) for this part:

Part number: NAND01GW3B2BN6E

Description: 1 Gbit NAND Flash, industrial temperature, TSOP48 package

Some distributors say it’s EAR99, but based on the specs (over 16 Mbit flash), it might also fall under 3A991.b.1.a.

Does anyone know the official classification from ST, or if a CCATS number exists?

We need this info for export compliance reasons.

Unfortunately we cannot help you as NAND01GW3B2BN6E is an obsolete product and to my knowledge it is no more belonging to ST portfolio since (if I recall) in 2006/2007 and it was transferred to Numonyx which was acquired by Micron in 2010.

Correct, the Flash division was spun off under the name Numonyx, which was later taken over by Micron. You‘ll find some related threads e.g. here or there.
