Hi,

I work on ST10F168 with 2 * 1Mb * 8 bits SRAM on external bus. I use A1 to A20 and WRL for the first ram and WRH (P3.12/BHE) for the second. It works very good.

But i would to know if i can use only one write signal for the 2 ram. For example the WR signal on the 2 chip.

Because i want to connect a 16 bits sram with just one WR.

But i don't understand why we can't use external bus with just 1 CS, 1 RD, and 1 WR when it works in 16 bits non-multiplexed ???
