framing error detection code??

    uPSD323x does not support Framing Error Bit. Most standard 8032 UART do not support framing error bit. This feature is supported in some 805x with the enhanced UART, in which case, the framing error bit is embedded in the SCON0 (SM0 bit) and PCON (SMOD0 bit) registers.

    Hello,

    i would like to know whether STupsd 323X has the FE(framing error bit)???

    We would like to implement the break signal transmission as well as detection.

    For that, we should be able to detect the stop bit as '0' (invalid stop bit. ) & corresoindingly we can set one flag or increment one counter..which can be used as an indication of break signal....

    we would like to know is ther any other method to send & detect BREAK SIGNAL...
