Function and caracteristic about an electronic coponent MX C739

Hello, on an electronic card which has suffered a surge, i have a electronic coponent which is out of order because it is cracked. On it, i can see the ST logo and on the first line: MX and second line C739. I searched but impossible to find information about function and caracteristics.

Does somebody have an idea ?
