Hello, I have looked many places, including Google and the ST website, and I cannot find this microcontroller anywhere. Markings on this controller are the following:

M22050431A

if someone can provide any information on this and a datasheet, that would be very useful!

Probably searching on the wrong data, perhaps provide a picture, large, clear and in focus. Show usage context, package and pin count details. 

If automotive application might be a custom or proprietary chip.

attached 64 pins. It’s not automotive application. It is an older stereo application. This is all the information I have.

As @Tesla DeLorean has already surmised, this is a customised device to whose documents and data only the customer placing the order has or had access.
