The ECM on my 1987 Ford Bronco has a TO-220 component labelled 'SGS 28710 5101FG'.  I cannot find any information on waht this is.  Is there a description or datasheet available?  I need to replace this component with a current equivalent.

    Hello Graeme ,

I have moved your post in Discontinued product

I think that it is a power mosfet

I think that you can replace by an equivalent one.

         Best regards

Thank you, Erwan.  I will de-solder the suspect component (and a known good component with the same part code) and test them.  If this on is bad, as I suspect, then I will know which part to use as a replacement.

    Thanks again!
