    Hello,

I would like to know which is the preferred compiler (IAR, Keil, Raisonnance, …) for STR9 products? The best choice for me is the compiler which is used by ST and most part of developers…

    Thanks,

    Julien.

    Julien,

If you want to try a gnu gcc solution, and expect to use ST products only, I deeply suggest Idealist IDE/Compiler from Anglia. It's free and...it works just ''out of the box''. I tried several gnu-gcc tools, only this one works when you have to work with floating point and printf (the other may work but not for a dummy like me!).

For the debug, I use a JtagKey, Eclipse, GDB and OpenOCD, but it is not painless to set up...

    Good luck,

    Joel
