Hello Sir....

I am new to ARM and using STR710 to develop my new small handheld device...

I am interfacing a graphical LCD, a small thermal printer and a keypad...

I almost have these individual device driver programms running ...

NOW I AM CONFUSED AS TO HOW TO MAKE IT TO THE PRODUCT....

DO I HAVE TO WRITE A BOOTLOADER PROGRAME.....HOW CAN I DO THAT???

wHAT SHOULD I DO..??

If you have your code completed (final .hex file produced) you can program your chip yet before soldering into device. In this way you do not need any additional bootloaders, JTAG connectors nor other stuff... Look at www.elnec.com, may be you will find the solution suitable for you...

Thanks for your reply..

but i actually want to programme the STR being on my product..

For that i wish to use the JTAG cable(however i am si to lear ow to use jtag for programming)..

What actuall is a bootloader?

..Please help...>>!!!
