How to protect applicaiton knowledge??

    Hi friends:

    Our supplier (drive company), which is good at drive control, and our company, cooperate to develop a new product using ST9. We have our own software respectively. But we haven’t figure out how to protect our own knowledge. How to share the memory space? use an extra memory? … Could you please give me any advices?

    You can use an external memory for storing common variables; say you can use serial eeprom such as 24cxxx series. ST9 and the drive’s controller through I2C protocol can share this memory.
