    Hi,

    Can anyone advise if/why the i2c clock speed needs to be set if I2C device is only to be used in slave mode?

    Hello david.fussell,

    No need to set the clock speed of I2C in slave mode. The slave follows the master clock speed. Indeed, the master is the responsible of the clock generation.
