Icc of STG719 is much higher than what the datasheet says

I am using STG719STR and on the datasheet, it claims the Icc should be 1uA (Max). However, I am seeing a current draw of 0.1mA from the Vcc pin (thus Icc) when the input pin is low and a current draw of 3.11mA when the input pin is high.

I feed a 6V to the Vcc from a power supply and a 3V to the input with a 1k resistor in series in case any clarification is needed. Please help.
