    Hi

I read pdf file about UART bootloader and I have one question. Is the start adress of bank 0 after remaping by CAPS 0x80000 or 0x8000? Bank1 has only 32kB adress space.

    Best regards

    Vendelin

    Hello Vendelin,

Bank0 is remapped to address 0x80000 using CAPS and Bank1 size is 32Kbytes as you said.

    Regards,

    Najoua.

I was just reading an article in embedded-Developer.com. Here is the link.

    http://www.embedded-developer.com/tools/470/STMicroelectronics/um0290.htm

It says that the USB Boot loader called a DFU. What does DFU stand for?

Is available in the USB developer kit.

I haven't checked it out yet but it is something I need for my project.

    :D

The thread is from 2006/2007, a prior incarnation of the forum, and user database. The current forum had a meltdown in mid May 2011. Attachments have not survived these processes, ST might be able to dig them out of the archives, but that's not certain. You may want to check if the material is mirrored other places on the net, or that the posters are active on other forums.

previously i had been able to find a lot of very usefule files (application notes, sample source, tools, utilities etc) for the str9.  now i could not find these same files in their new website layout.  does it mean they are gone?  because we dont usually download all of these as they are easily available (and searchable) before.  that would be a very big concern for us regarding using str9 and st mcu in general?
