Is it OK to put the pull up resistors on programming tool?

    There are pull up resistors needed for JTAG related pins(like JTDI,JTMS,JTCK,JTRST),

    Is it OK to put these pull up resistors outside of target board,

    in the programming tool(board) connection of the related pins?

    Hi Kuni,

    Find attached the optimal schematic for JTAG.

    It would be better if the different pulls up resistors are inside the target board; however it should works normally if not. :-]
