Is STG3157 Suitable for Headphone-Level Audio?

Is the STG3157 suitable for headphone-level audio? I need to switch between the inputs of two microphones and put one of them into a small audio amp IC.

Hello Jim,

Yes STG3157 can be used for headphone level audio. Please be sure to take into account the on resistance of the switch in your design. As on resistance is lower when Vcc is higher, it's better to power the device with a large enough Vcc. It will also give you more headroom for your signal.
