jffs2 problem on M29W640DB

    Hi,

    We are using M29W640DB bottom boot sector flash from ST Microelectronics for our MPC8248 based custom board.

    We are getting following messages while booting kernel.

    jffs2_scan_eraseblock(): Magic bitmask 0x1985 not found at 0x0000000c: 0x0008 instead

    Further such events for this erase block will not be printed

    JFFS2: Erase block at 0x00000000 is not formatted. It will be erased

    Further such events for this erase block will not be printed

    JFFS2: Erase block at 0x00de0000 is not formatted. It will be erased

    Cowardly refusing to erase blocks on filesystem with no valid JFFS2 nodes

    Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 1f:00

    Rebooting in 180 seconds..
