L6566B Based Flyback Design

Hi,

This is the first time I am asking on this forum.

Could you please help me with Some design help.

I have designed circuit with eDESIGNSUITE for following requirements.

1.Input voltage:180-265VAC

2.Output Voltage-17V 4.2A

from the design, it resulted out transformer primary inductance:1.6mH.

I am bit surprised with the value, because I have checked another similar Design, they have very less inductance.

Could you please help me that "Can we trust on eDESIGNSUITE?

This is the first time that I am designing with Stm tools.

Please help.​

If you still need support, I can give you some details about that default value for primary inductance is calculated.
