    Krishna,

    You've probably seen

    http://opensrc.sec.samsung.com/

which talks about the no-mmu port of Linu 2.6 to ARM. However, it doesn't look like it has any development on it for 2 years, and it only supports 1 samsung processor, so there is probably a lot of work to be done.

    Hi

I agree with you on the MMU required for Linux porting. But I came to know that the Linux 2.6 kernel can work without mmu hardware support. I would like to have clarification on this.

For 2.4 kernel MMU hardware support must.
