M24M02E-F Pinout Issue

Hi!

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out the pinout from the datasheet for the M24M02E-F Eeprom.

I plan to use the WLCSP5 package but the package information chapter and the pin description chapter paints two completely different pictures and I don't know which one to use. The pin indicator are in opposite sides. I suppose the package information is the most correct one but if I use that, how are the pins situated then? Simply just mirrored from the pin description image?

Unfortunately I'm not alllowed to upload images but this is the datasheet:

https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/m24m02e-f.pdf

Package information is at page 44, chapter 10.4

Pin description is at page 3, figure 3.

Thank you

As long as there is no conflicting information, I wouldn't worry too much about where the pin 1 location is. The pins and pin numbering in relation to pin 1 marking are given on page 4. It would be better if it were to scale, but the info is there.

The package information gives dimensions, but doesn't give any conflicting information. Should the pin 1 marking be on the bottom left instead? Maybe, but there may be another reason it's different in this drawing.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I've new experimented with orientation and resoldered and measured it.
You're absolutely correct. If you ignore every screaming fibre of your body and take a blind eye to the fact that the
reality actually looks nothing like the illustration and simply just read the printed information it does indeed work.

    Thank you
