    Hi,

I have read UM0288, titled ''Getting started with the MDK-ST10 board'' with populated ST10F276.

I'm specially interested on providing a good quality Varef for my ST10F276 to accurate measure some analog signals.

In UM0288 I see a solution to realize Varef using a LM4040 but on page 20 ''MDK-ST10 bill of material'' I can not found dimension values for R19 and D5.

    (I think that D5 could be a LM4040-4.1 and R19 at about 120 Ohm.)

Could you tell me the recommendation of ST, please.

    Hi JoeM,

    you're right for the LM4040 ,

instead the resistor R19 is suggested of 100 Ohm.

    bye

Is this officially prefered by ST?

In ST10F276 datasheet I read about Varef min. 4,5V (on page 185).

But this value could also be just a test condition.

I'd not found further informations about Varef min.

Checking with different Varef voltages by myself results in that with Varef less than 3,2V the ADC not works (tested at -25°C, +25°C and +80°C).

    My finally question now:

Is 4,096V a valid voltage for Varef were ST garants proper working of the ADC?

    Joe.

    Still unanswered:

Is 4,096V a valid voltage for Varef were ST garants proper working of the ADC of the ST10F276?
