    My current project is to replace Fairchild's ACE1202M8 8-bit microcontroller we currently use. I am looking for advice on the best STMicro equivalent. Thanks for your help.

    Well, it is difficult to recommend ''the best'' without knowledge of application and their needs... generaly speaking, you can take a look on ST7LITE family, mainly LITE0. But, you should check parameters and peripherals, which are important for you.
