My STPC Consumer-II SBC won't boot all the way into the CE desktop if I first power up board with Ethernet cable connected. If I wait until the SBC boots into CE desktop and then connect an Ethernet cable, everything works fine. I get an IP address, and I can browse the Internet fine. I know the Ethernet cable is okay because I tested it on a nearby PC. Also, I do not have ''Boot from LAN'' enabled in the BIOS only boot from hard disk. I think that CE is trying to do something on the network before everthing related to the ethernet is loaded and configured. Therefore, it must be hanging because of this.

    Thanks for any help,

    Joel
