    Hi

When I try to program my STR912-SK with configuration using CAPS

    it gives me log message

    Start JTAG operation...

    Device 1 : ( 4 pins )

Device is secured. Select all regions for erase operation.

    Time elapsed : 1 sec.

And I don't think the config is programmed

When I erase ALL everything is OK

    Regards Emil

There are 2 other reasons why you get the

''Device is Secure. Select all regions for erase operation''

    1. No power on the device

    2. *slow* power up of the device. I discovered that if I apply 1.4V before 3.3V (ie ramp up my external power supply over the course of seconds), the device will not turn on at all. For this reason, we are putting in an external voltage supervisor, since the internal LVD doesn't seem to work well (I've verified that the LDV is enabled in the config bits).

The stupid CAPS program does not distinguish between a secured device and an unpowered device.
