I need to know what sort of laser machine is needed or laser power to be able to mark the programmed components with some info on top.

You can use either CO2 or YAG laser but you must take care to not go deeper than 30 microns else you will damage the connections.

If you need more detailed information, you should contact your distri or a ST sales office and indicate on which kind of package you want to write.
