    Does the uPSD 321x require an external circuit to generate a power-on reset? The DK3200 does not have any such circuit (excluding the FlashLink, which is not permanently attached).

    However, page 142 of the datasheet seems to say that something must hold the RESET~ pin low for 1ms after Vcc is stable. I thought I could get away with just connecting RESET~ to my JTAG connector like the DK3200, but maybe not?

    The uPSD321x does not require an external POR reset circuitry since it already has a build-in Power-on and Low Voltage Detection supervisory circuit. please see figure 20, page 48 of the uPSD3212x data sheet.
