When installing PSDExpress, the PC i unable to log in to Windows. I have tried both PSDExpress verison 8.10 and 8.02.

When i enter my password on the log on dialog in windows, the PC hangs. The only solution is to reset the PC, and restore the system.

    My konfiguration is:

    ABIT IC7G

    Intel P4 3,0C

    2x512MB Samsung PC3200

    Seagate 7200.7 120GB SATA

Windows XP prof (with all updates)

The PC is loggod on a domain.

    roltec,

I realize this mesage is old, but I can guess at your problem. For whatever reason, PSDSoft Express doesn't play nicely with PC's that have HyperThreading Enabled. So... if you have a newer P4 with HT technology, you need to go in to the BIOS and disable HyperThreading from there in order to fix this. Otherwise, windows will hang while it's trying to start up the drivers and such.

Note that the latest version of PSDsoft (8.30) does not require Hyperthreading to be turned off.
