Hi!

I have some questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you give some references of RAM compatible with the ST10F168?(16 bit demultiplexed)

Can you tell me more about the BHE signal?

I know that it is slower using external RAM than internal memory : do you know how much?

Take a look at the SAMSUNG K6R4016C1D-TI10 256kx16SRAM.

I use it with an ST10F269 @40MHz 16 bit demux Bus without any waitstates.

Works great up to now. Should work with your F168 too.

How did you connect this RAM to the micro? We're hoping to connect like this (using an ST10F276 micro, basically the same as the 269)...

/WR -> /WE

/RD -> /OE

/BHE -> /UB

A0 -> /LB

We'd use a 16 bit demultiplexed bus. Would this allow us to write and read bytes and 16 bit words??
