regarding secondary flash as code space

    Hello,

    Can anyone tell me,for general IAP design why it is recomended that

    secondary flash should contain the IAP code & primary as main application code??

    Apart from the large memory area what is the major difference between the two.

    If assume that application cdoe is small enough to fit into the 1 sector of secondary flash , then it is advisible to use secondary as application code area & primary as IAP code or no....

    Secondary Flash has higher priority than the Primary Flash (see Figure 51, data sheet), other than that, they should be the same. If the VM register is setup properly, IAP can reside in the Main Flash at power up also.
