Remote Console for GP ST7540 not working on Windows 7 nor on Windows 10

I have installed this software from ST "Remote Console for GP ST7540" on a few computers running on Windows 7 and on Windows 10 with compatibility mode set to Windows 7 and unable to run the application. On all computers the software installs without any hitch, but when you run the app, we get this error "Remote Console has stopped working". attaching this error prompt.

Can someone help us with getting the correct software from ST. Thank you.
