    Hello All,

I am looking for a replacement for ST62T42BQ6 chip. This is 64 pin PQFP64 package.

Some of the salient requirements are OTP or cheapest varient, 8K ROM, 192 bytes RAM, 6 channel 8-bit ADC, TWO 8-bit timers with 7-bit prescaler and 40 x 4 LCD segment driving lines.

If anybody is using any low-cost ST product which meets all of the above specs, please suggest.

    Thanks in advance.

Replacement for ST62T42BQ6 is ST7 microcontrolers. According to your need you can select the appropriate one from the following link

    http://mcd.rou.st.com/modules.php?name=mcu&file=familiesdocs&FAM=15#Datasheet

You will find it easily rather with more accurate set of features except the LCD segment driving lines e.g . For that i will suggest you to go for software implemented LCD driver with full explanation in AN1048(available at link www.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/6292.pdf ) It is very efficient in terms of speed and memory requirements.
