    Hello,

i want to Buffer the RTC of my STR752 with a Battery. So when i take of the voltage from the whole device only the RTC (Date/Time) should go on.

And when i put back the voltage the device should start up with the correct time and date. So i dont have to set the time and date manually after i shut down the device.

I read in the Reference Manual about the Standby mode. But there you have to put your Controller by software command in Standby mode.

Does anyone know how i can handle this?

You can refer to AN2100 :  STR71x Microcontroller Power Management providing different examples on how to configure STR71x low power mode. It may help.
