Anyone can help me on following two problems regarding XASC & ASC0 of ST10F276.

The two serial interfaces are configured to be RS485. We use P8.4 toggling between transmitting and receiving for XASC; use P8.3 toggling between transmitting and receive for ASC0.

    1) For ASC0, when P8.3 is toggled the P3.11 (receiving for ASC0) is also toggled. For XASC, when P8.4 is toggled the P8.6 (receiving for XASC) is also toggled. How do I stop P3.11 / P8.6 toggling with P8.3 / P8.4?

    2) Serial interface XASC receives single character OK. When trying to receive more than one character it always gets wrong data on second character and after.

    Thans for any help.

    Hi Najoua,

Please find attached code witch used to transmit/receive data from/to XBUS serial interface. I use Advanced Serial Port Monitor to send and receive data from processor.

Thank you very much for the help.

    Best regards
