I can boot diskonchip from DOS(using DOC1xx.exb.->DOC5xx.exb) successful.

I use dformat program to format doc2000-chips and doses not copy any thing to the doc2000.

when I boot from linux, the BIOS halt!,Why?(if TrueFFS working, the BIOS dead)

I can boot linux from HardDisk.

To copy files to DOC, you have to upgrade the firmware also: please use this command under DOS.

    dformat /WIN:C800 /S:DOC5EXB

You can not boot because you have to configure DiskOnChip as a bootable disk for the OS used. I have attached the Installation manual for the DiskOnChip2000 with Linux OS.
