    Hello,

Does any body know some details about the CPU ST10 F252 - like part number, evaluation kit details etc..? I could not find it in the website. It is similar to F269 with 256K Flash and 20k RAM.

    Hello,

The ST10F252 is a new derivative of the STMicroelectronics ST10 family of 16-bit single-chip CMOS microcontrollers. It combines high CPU performance (up to 24 million instructions per second) with high peripheral functionality and enhanced IO-capabilities. It

also provides on-chip high-speed single voltage FLASH memory, on-chip high-speed RAM, and clock generation via PLL.

It is built using a 0.18 μm CMOSM8 process, with 1.8V internal core logic voltage, but 5.0V IOs and a single 5.0V supply voltage. The device implements an on-chip voltage regulator for the core logic supply.

    Third parties supporting this MCU:

    - PLS is a software tool provider

    - Phytec provides an eval board based on the ST10F252. You can contact them for more details.

    I hope this helps,

    Regards,

    Najoua.

Thanks a lot for the info..

    I have some more questions.

We have a Dprobe ST10 emulator from HITEX for ST10F275/276/269. Can I use it for debugging ST10F252 with some minor upgrade? If so what exactly should I do to upgrade the emulator?

Are there any other debug hardware available for ST10F252? I think Lauterbach has an emulator called FIRE ( Fully integrated RISC Emulator) which supports this processor, but that is quite expensive.

    Any suggestions?
